To align with the urban-rural cultural theme of the 2026/27 Sha Tin Festival, the Sha Tin Rural Committee, Sha Tin Community Celebration Committee, Sha Tin Festival Committee, and Sha Tin District Office 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 will jointly organize the "Sha Tin Festival • Che Kung Mid-Autumn Temple Fair" from September 25 to 27, 2026, coinciding with the Mid-Autumn Festival and Che Kung's Birthday. Details are as follows:

The event features folk performances, craft demonstrations, cultural booths, and interactive experiences showcasing the rich cultural content of urban and rural areas, allowing citizens to personally experience the history and traditional culture of the Sha Tin District in a festive atmosphere and to pass on the distinctive, culturally significant, and community-engaged values of the Sha Tin District.

The opening ceremony will be held at 4:00 PM on September 25, and at 3:00 PM on the same day, there will be a procession of the Hou Wang Temple in Tai Wai Village and Che Kung of Sha Tin 🧑‍🤝‍🧑. Residents from within and outside the district are welcome to attend.
